Introduction to the TextBook: In all spheres of education, teaching and learning is the hub of individual, institutional and national development. This is because the appropriateness of pedagogical dissemination and the openness of the receiver to decipher the knowledge is an indication of quality knowledge production. That is, teaching entails using appropriate ways/styles that best suit a particular classroom situation, while learning also requires methodological insinuation to select which learning methods are required to navigate the teaching-learning process. Hence, there is a need to produce a 2-in-1 companion book for lecturers/instructors/teachers and students. This book brings the attention of instructors/lecturers/tutors of any level of education to notable teaching methods/strategies suitable in their classrooms and retentive learning strategies for students’ effective learning. The ideas in this book, Pedagogical Strategies For 21st Century Classrooms were informed by the practical experiences of the editors as schoolteachers, university lecturers, and education researchers. This book will have three parts: Part one contains an introduction to teaching and learning in classrooms, part two is designed to address notable teaching strategies, and part three equips students' minds towards selecting appropriate learning strategies.
