Guidelines for Author of Monographs

Author Guidelines for Monographs

Thank you for your interest in publishing with ERRCD Forum-Open Books and Proceedings. We are committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient publication process for all authors. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your monograph.

  1. Submission Process
  • Initial Proposal: Authors should submit a detailed proposal that includes a title, abstract (300-500 words), table of contents, and a brief biography of the author(s). Proposals should highlight the monograph's objectives, significance, and intended audience.
  • Manuscript Submission: Once the proposal is accepted, authors are invited to submit the full manuscript. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word format via our online submission system or by email to the editorial office.
  1. Manuscript Preparation
  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in English (British or American). Authors are encouraged to use clear, concise language and ensure proper grammar and syntax.
  • Format:
    • Font: Times New Roman, 12-point size.
    • Spacing: Double-spaced throughout, including references and footnotes.
    • Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides.
    • Title Page: Should include the title of the monograph, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information.
    • Abstract: A summary of 250-300 words outlining the key points of the monograph.
    • Keywords: 4-6 keywords that represent the main topics of the monograph.
    • Chapters: Clearly numbered and titled chapters. Each chapter should begin on a new page.
    • References: Follow the American Psychological Association (APA 7th Edition) style for citations and references.
    • Figures and Tables: Should be included within the text, numbered consecutively, and accompanied by captions. Ensure high-resolution images for clarity.
  1. Review Process
  • Peer Review: All submitted monographs undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments. The review process typically takes 2-3 months.
  • Revisions: Authors will be given specific instructions for revisions and a timeline for resubmission. Revised manuscripts will be reviewed again to ensure that all comments have been addressed.
  1. Publication Ethics
  • Originality: Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere. Any form of plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and Turnitin of 10% or less is acceptable.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or interpretation of results.
  • Permissions: Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for any copyrighted material used in the manuscript.
  1. Post-Acceptance
  • Proofreading: Accepted manuscripts will undergo a final proofreading stage. Authors will receive proofs for review and approval before publication.
  • Open Access: All monographs are published as open access, making them freely available to readers worldwide.
  • Life Maintenance Fee: Authors will be charged a nominal fee to cover the life maintenance of their publications. This fee ensures the continued accessibility and preservation of the work. And price varies based from book to book.
  1. Marketing and Distribution
  • Promotion: ERRCD Forum will actively promote published monographs through various channels, including academic conferences, social media, and our website.
  • Distribution: Published monographs will be available on our website with DOI and other indexing academic databases to ensure wide distribution and visibility.
