About the Journal
The JoHETI is an esteemed academic platform dedicated to advancing research and scholarly discourse at the intersection of the humanities, education, technology, and innovation. This journal serves as a catalyst for critical engagement, interdisciplinary dialogue, and transformative knowledge production in these dynamic fields.
Origin of JoHETI
The journal is the brainchild of Professor Bekithemba Dube, who joined the Central University of Technology (CUT) as a Research Professor in 2024. Recognising the need for a scholarly outlet that bridges the humanities with emerging educational technologies and innovative practices, Professor Dube initiated and conceptualised this journal as part of his role as Director of the Centre for Diversity in Higher Education Research. Under his leadership, the journal was established within the Faculty of Humanities, CUT, Free State, with the vision of fostering academic excellence and contributing to global knowledge production.
